The Media Planning Manager develops and executes media strategies for digital marketing campaigns, collaborating with teams, agencies, and managing budgets and performance forecasts.
We are seeking a Media Planning Manager that will help us develop and execute our in-house media planning practice. The Media Planning team specializes in developing plans to deliver mid and upper-funnel digital marketing integrated campaigns, in partnership with our regional teams and media agencies. This role is crucial in shaping our brand's presence and driving awareness, consideration, and engagement across various digital channels. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working collaboratively with other marketing practices, a strategic mindset, analytical skills, and expertise in digital media planning and optimization techniques.
What you’ll do:
- Design media plans aim at maximizing media effectiveness across a multitude of digital channels, operating across all digital channels (Social, Video, Display, CTV, Audio, and more).
- Contribute to and integrate media planning learning agenda & planning principles into regional marketing campaigns.
- Partner with the forecasting team on media channel spend and performance forecasts.
- Ensure smooth execution of media buys in partnership with internal and external (agency) teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand campaign objectives, target audience demographics, and key objectives for brand awareness and mid-funnel campaigns.
- Partner with Applied Science, Brand Marketing, and Analytics to execute sophisticated Brand Marketing measurement.
- In partnership with the channel managers and the creative optimization team, contribute to and execute a testing roadmap aimed at constantly increasing the ROI of our media spend across channels.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify optimal media platforms, channels, and tactics for reaching target audiences efficiently.
- Partner with external agencies to integrate offline and online media channels into cohesive media plans that leverage the strength of both media channels to maximize impact.
Critical competencies:
- Deep media knowledge across all major digital channels (Paid Social, CTV, Audio, etc)
- Previous exposure at a tech/SaaS company with complex funnels
- Experience implementing media tracking technologies and analytics
- Deep understanding of digital media planning and buying techniques
Experience:
- Bachelor degree
- At least 6+ years of experience in media; agency experience preferred
- Previous experience in a media planning functions at large organization or agency
- Previous experience working cross-functionally to execute complex media plans
- Experience running regional digital media campaigns
