What You’ll Do:
- MRI Expertise: Perform high-quality MRI exams using advanced GE or Siemens MRI scanners, ensuring accurate diagnostic images that are vital to our clients' health and wellness.
- Precision Care: Assist with additional diagnostic tests including X-ray, DEXA, and CT calcium score exams (training provided), following best practices to maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and patient comfort.
- Patient Interaction: Provide a warm and welcoming environment for clients, explaining procedures clearly, answering questions, and ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
- Client Monitoring: Observe clients closely during exams to identify signs of discomfort or medical issues, taking appropriate action when necessary to ensure their well-being.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate MRI records, administer required documentation, and follow HIPAA guidelines to protect client privacy.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other technologists, physicians, and staff to provide seamless care and ensure positive client outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited MRI program, approved by the American College of Radiology (ACR)
- Current certification from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or The American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- Current CPR or BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (must be current by start date)
- At least three (3) years of experience working as an MRI Technologist
- Proficient in MS Outlook and strong communication skills
- Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to interact empathetically with clients
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide outstanding service
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- A commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology, MRI, or a related field
- Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification
- Experience with Siemens MRI scanners
- Strong focus on providing a positive, customer-focused experience
- A dynamic, engaging personality with a passion for continuous learning and taking on new challenges
