Administrative Assistant
Quantcast is hiring an Administrative Assistant to join the People & Places team in our San Francisco office. This role will provide support in general administration as well as project management, including complex scheduling, tracking budgets, planning meetings, handling deadlines, keeping meeting notes and managing communications on behalf of the VP of People & Places.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the People & Places leadership group to manage deadlines, keep track of action items, and ensure documents are up to date
- Facilitate key staff meetings by structuring agendas, preparing presentations, taking notes, and organizing work streams
- Anticipate issues and implement initiatives based on changing priorities and commitments
- Program manage an array of projects and events in support of the org and organization as a whole
- Implement operational improvements, working with the team to execute best practices in structuring an efficient work flow
- Help build a sense of community and culture within the People & Places team spread across multiple locations in the US, EMEA and APAC
Requirements
- 4-5 years admin experience supporting an Executive at a technology company (experience supporting human resources preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills, including extensive experience managing calendars
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
- Effectively maintain confidentiality of highly restrictive and confidential information
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage calendars
- Highly resourceful team-player with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
- Advanced PowerPoint and Google Suite skills
Bonus Points
- Experience or interest working in online/digital media industry strongly preferred
