Brand Partnerships is a new team within our Partnerships function. The team is responsible for identifying and pitching high-profile brands that would benefit from launching embedded finance products with Bond’s platform. As one of the team’s first hires, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing our brand partnership approach and strategy. You’ll build relationships with leaders at great brands and help them understand the embedded finance value proposition for their business and ultimately drive toward an engagement with Bond. This is a highly cross-functional role, working closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Finance, Compliance, and Legal and our Executive Team.

You will be responsible for: 

  • Brand Pipeline & Strategy - partnering with Bond leadership to define Brand targets that align with our near-term and longer term product roadmap.
  • Brand Pitching & Onboarding - presenting tailored pitches to Brands about how embedded finance adds value to their business, to drive toward a commercial relationship with Bond. Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements, and help support Brands through onboarding / integration.
  • Learning the Product - quickly become an authority on our product and technical capabilities to be able to credibly showcase Bond’s platform to potential Brand partners.
  • Product Insights - relaying Brand insights to influence product roadmap and engineering build

You have: 

  • At least 3-6 years of B2B partnerships, business development, and / or consultative sales experience at a fintech, SaaS or API-solutions company, a financial services company, or other high growth technology company
  • Experience pitching products / solutions to senior executives
  • Ability to influence and respond to objections; superior communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience negotiating contracts and commercials / pricing
  • Strong project management skills to drive engagements forward

You also likely have: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent; advanced degrees welcome but not required
  • Prior experience in business development or consultative sales at a B2B fintech, SaaS or API-solutions company, a financial services company, or other high growth technology business
  • Ability to understand potential brand partners and create “lightbulb moments” in a pitch to drive excitement about working with Bond
  • Experience working cross-functionally to pitch, sign, and launch customers
  • Experience managing a customer pipeline in a CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Comfort working with remote teams
  • Comfort with the ambiguity of an early-stage company
