The Enrollment Advisor team at Virta provides proactive motivation and information for our applicants throughout the enrollment process, from the moment they apply to Virta until they are enrolled in the treatment. EAs  proactively call applicants to make a personal connection, answer questions, provide support and encouragement, and guide the applicant through the enrollment process. This is a key role in Virta’s growth team, as your work will determine just how many patients have the chance to reverse their diabetes. We’re looking for a smart, kind, determined, outgoing, and detail-oriented person to join us. The Enrollment Advisor is an organized, empathetic, sales-oriented person with strong customer service  skills who is willing to tackle any challenge and is driven to provide access to the Virta Treatment to the maximum number of people! As an Associate Manager within the EA team, you’ll work directly with Virta patients to successfully move them through the enrollment process. In addition, Associate Managers are responsible for leading and managing small to medium sized Pod teams (~1-6 Enrollment Advisors / Mentors), fostering/supporting Virta culture, and creating an environment of trust, open communication, and problem solving. Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise  on the Virta Treatment and effectively communicate to applicants the science behind nutritional ketosis and diabetes reversal
  • Accountable for Team’s applicant funnel via Salesforce, partnering cross-functionally with Product, Customer Support, and Marketing to drive conversion rate
  • Maintain consistent communication with applicants, calling and emailing regularly (50%+ of the time on the phone directly working with applicants) to answer questions accurately, with compassion & patience 
  • Technological literacy is a must; comfortable using various digital platforms and a remote delivery model in a rapidly changing environment; 
  • Apply utmost discretion and judgment in handling confidential health information and/or issues

90-day plan

  • Complete the education and marketing training program (80+ hours of work) to become an expert on the Virta Treatment
  • Understand every step of the existing enrollment process
  • Learn the various responsibilities of the Associate Manager role and assist with the management and review of various team logistics
  • Learn what key performance indicators (KPIs) are used to track performance and understand how the Pod team’s day-to-day work impacts those metrics
  • Actively contribute to team culture, learning, and overall process improvements by providing continuous feedback
  • Jump in and identify areas where we can improve to give more applicants access to the Virta Treatment!

Requirements

  • Desire to learn and share the science of Virta’s treatment
  • Minimum of 6-months experience as a Virta EA or comparable external experience managing a team in a healthcare environment; direct to patient sales experience is preferred
  • Expressed interest in leadership
  • Excellent written and spoken communication; demonstrated ability to build relationships and trust with others quickly on the phone (50%+ of the day) and via email or text
  • Ability to use qualitative conversations and quantitative metrics to build relationships with applicants, improving conversion rates enrollment
  • Familiarity with Google Suite (gMail, gDocs and gSheets) and ability to quickly ramp up on the Salesforce platform
  • Ability to multi-task while staying detail-oriented

Location

We are currently all working from home, but our office is close to the Ferry Building, Salesforce Park and Market Street, as well as Bart and Caltrain
