The Opportunity
We launched our in-store payment offering in October 2020 with retail partners like Forever 21, DSW, and Finish Line. As we continue to grow our in-store presence in 2021, we’re looking for a dynamic, retail-obsessed Lead Retail Trainer who will interface with world-class retailers to support their in-store launches. You’ll wear many hats, and will need to be fluent in sales, marketing, and operations to be successful in this role.

-Develop and maintain a deep partnership with world-class retailers, ensuring the ongoing success of Afterpay’s retail program in their stores
-Sell Afterpay’s training capabilities to retail executives during the sales and contracting phase
-Collaborate with our Training & Education team to develop, design, and execute training programs to launch Afterpay at retailers - supporting their retail team members
-Represent Afterpay at regional and national retailer conferences to build preference and affinity with field leaders
-Ensure fleet-wide partner compliance with our training requirements
-Work closely with multiple cross-functional partners including product, product marketing, engineering, design, research, data science, FP&A, legal, and on the group operations

-8+ years of experience in field training, field marketing, or field communications with experience managing operationally-driven processes at large scale

-You are comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced, occasionally ambiguous environments
-High-growth startup experience is a plus. Whether in the boardroom or on the shop floor, you exhibit excellent communication skills
