Business Operations Associate (Remote) - Asset Management
Why Divvy?
At Divvy Homes, we're building an on-ramp to homeownership – one that's more flexible, more affordable, and an all-around better fit for today’s American family – and it’s working.
We’re looking for a Business Operations Associate to join the Asset Management team. You’ll work directly for the Head of Asset Management/Home Turns. Asset Management is responsible for the strategy and execution of a business plan for each vacant property and for helping manage the Divvy portfolio at large.
This role is the most cross-functional within the organization. You’ll partner with multiple teams across the company: Repairs & Maintenance to repair homes after move-outs, Sales & Marketing to re-rent homes to Divvy customers, Brokerage to sell homes, and Customer Operations to ensure a quality customer experience for our second generation homes.
Note: we are open to candidates located across the country.
Responsibilities
- You will manage a portfolio of vacant properties from move-out to successful outcome. You will own the strategic asset plan for each home (dispose, re-divvy, re-rent) and make decisions based on sound analytical evaluation.
- You will be responsible for overseeing move-outs, coordinating home renovations, pricing and listing each home, managing re-sale agents and evaluating offers, and successfully closing each transaction.
- Play a meaningful role in the growth of this new team at a company that is changing our customers’ financial futures every day
- Work across the entire organization to successfully execute your business plan for each vacant home within your portfolio
- Balance your time between external-facing work with customers, agents and vendors and internal, operationally-intensive work
Experience and Skills
- 2-6 years into your career and have worked in a high-growth operations, investment, or asset management role at a real estate company. Above all, we are looking for highly motivated candidates with a track-record of delivering great outcomes in their prior roles.
- Collaborative by nature and comfortable working cross-functionally
- Able to manage a number of competing priorities with a bias for action
- Confident in your decision making and able to manage complex situations with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders
- Able to perform complex analyses in excel
