We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly-motivated Business Operations Manager to help design and optimize business processes across the organization. In this role, you will partner closely with senior leadership to drive cross-functional operational decision-making. This is a foundational role that will require you to deliver objective analysis and execute on key initiatives to improve business and operational effectiveness and efficiency across the organization. You will help lay the foundations for an enterprise-level business operations function and gain the necessary skills to put you on the path towards future business leadership.
Partner with department leads to drive process and performance improvements and help scale effective business functions
Serve as an advisor to the leadership team to identify, develop, and execute strategic plans to achieve business goals
Conduct operational analyses to measure efficiency, identify issues, and optimize for efficiency across the organization. Present insights and make recommendations to inform critical business decisions
Participate in the development of short and long-term goals and allocate necessary budgeting in support of annual objectives
Build new teams from scratch and provide mentorship and operational guidance to set them up for success
4+ years of relevant professional experience
1 years minimum in an operations role
BS / BA degree or higher from top-tier university
Analytical and process-oriented with a strong understanding of finance
Highly collaborative with a team-first mindset; you can work effortlessly and effectively across all departments
Relentless focus on execution and results; you are able to drive initiatives and projects beyond strategy and analysis
Energetic and motivated self-starter, you can own complex projects with limited input and minimal oversight
- 2+ years of experience in management consulting, private equity, VC, or previous experience with strategic operations at a high growth startup
