OVERVIEW
Instacart’s mission is to create a world where everyone has access to the food they love and more time to enjoy it together. To achieve this mission, we partner very closely with 600+ retailer partners on many initiatives so that they can achieve their core objectives. Our retailer sales and account teams are kept on track and running smoothly by our growing Sales Excellence team. We are looking for a Business Performance Manager to lead end-to-end rhythms and processes across the Business Development Retail team.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Provide Leadership across the Business Development Retail team (Sales and Account Management) around all key processes, driving simplification and enablement both within the team and cross-functionally.
- Drive processes across multiple forums; ensure key processes are properly built and linked together; drive actions items across teams.
- Manage and enhance a Knowledge base that is used to provide best practices and key content across Sales and Account Management
- Track and manage progress towards goals; turn insights into actions that close gaps and course correct gaps to achieving performance
- Lead the end-to-end running of the business, including the strategy and execution of high impact internal events and communications that drive the business forward (eg. all hands, review)
- Work closely across teams, including with leadership to continually improve and optimize the running the of the business
ABOUT YOU
- 5-8+ years of related experience in business management, business planning, sales planning, sales strategy, sales excellence
- Demonstrated abilities in strategic insights, organizational leadership, business acumen, executive maturity and presence
- High attention to detail, ability to think through processes end-to-end and create the art of the simple
- Experience in sales and business automation process, tools, systems and technologies; experience with Salesforce and JIRA a plus
