About the team:

The UserTesting Business Systems team helps manage the Enterprise TechStack which supports the entire lifecycle of the customer journey including Lead Generation, Opportunity Life Cycle, Quote to Cash Order to Cash, and the customer support process to help our customers in a timely manner. The Opportunity:

The Business Systems Developer will join our Business Systems Team to primarily support our internal teams, including Sales, Finance & Analytics efforts. This is a critical role, supporting teams who can help Scale our business, Improve Sales pipeline, and support our rapidly growing customer base. Your mission will be to ensure all SaaS systems leveraged by the Sales and Finance teams are meeting the business and user requirements to support our business strategies and ensure systems are architected to be scalable and prevent business disruption. This role requires a baseline understanding of Quote to Cash Process. Responsibilities will include the daily administration and operation of our SaaS solutions.  

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains, and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions.
  • Strong knowledge in Quote to Cash Process with the ability to support Financial tools Intacct/NetSuite and Salesforce development and administration.
  • Participates in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies.
  • SME in Salesforce CRM Integrations including ERP applications and other tools .
  • Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource.May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software applications.
  • Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants and maintains accountability on projects .
  • Provides Production support: Provide support for various Sales, Finance, and Analytics systems including, but not limited to, researching and resolving problems.
  • Background in data warehouse - Knowledge of SQL queries and reporting tools Tableau/Adaptive Insights experience will be a huge plus.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement the post-sales tech stack with a focus on Intacct, Salesforce and Integrations. Additional systems to support may include Analytics platforms, Integrations, Marketo and other third party tools.
  • Strong Salesforce development experience,including Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, Visualforce, Force. Com and SOAP-based web services and REST API
  • Managing system integrations and removal of obsolete managed packages required.
  • Establish and implement best practices with regard to system maintenance, removal of technical debt, resolution of security vulnerabilities, ecosystem design, configuration, development, testing, data integrity, etc.
  • Research and plan for changes in upcoming versions of SaaS solutions; provide recommendations when necessary to enhance efficiency and productivity. Support change management efforts.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and ramp up quickly to support Business Systems team is critical.


What We’re Looking For:

  • BS/BTECH/MS in Information systems (IT) / Computer Science, finance, math, a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ combined years of work experience between technical, IT, and/or systems administration and development roles.
  • Experience with Intacct, Salesforce development and Administration is required.
  • Experience with Bill.com, Adaptive Insights and Tableau is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in SOQL, HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL, Java or C#
  • Experience implementing Salesforce. com CPQ and Sales Cloud.
  • Experience with Salesforce. com developer toolkit including Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, Visualforce, Force. Com and SOAP-based web services and REST API.
  • The ability to troubleshoot system errors and sync issues is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing or helped manage software implementations
  • Experience in Salesforce CPQ will be a huge plus.
  • Understanding of database concepts, end-points, webhooks and APIs
  • Process-oriented, proactive and customer-focused
  • Proactive about starting up and carrying out projects to gain efficiencies
  • Self-motivated individual who is detail-oriented with the ability to quickly identify and correct errors or bugs and always looking for opportunities to optimize processes.
  • Flexible and able to quickly act under pressure
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Salesforce. com Developer /Advanced Developer certification is preferred
