The Chief of Staff within the coaching organization will report directly to the VP of Coaching and Chief Operating Officer. The Coaching team is a part of the Clinical and Operations Org, and is the secret sauce of Hinge Health’s success. Our coaches work directly with our patients to help them overcome musculoskeletal pain and start living the life they aspire to. 


This individual will use their people and project management skills to increase the impact of a fast growing team within a hyper-growth company. We are looking for someone who believes that investing in people drives success for the organization. The CoS will work on various initiatives for the VP and COO, and their primary focus will be projects related to maximizing the output of our People (coaches and management). Specifically, we will look to this individual to promote a culture of transparency and connection, increase the impact of the VP of Coaching, and keep the organization on track to hit its quarterly and annual goals through organization and accountability.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Promote a culture of transparency, connection, and positive recognition by updating the coaching team and company stakeholders on our quarterly progress, planning team events and running recognition activities. 
  • Increase the impact of the VP by managing her schedule, participate in cross functional meetings, and be a sounding board for the VP while representing different stakeholders of the team. 
  • Keep the organization on track to hit its quarterly and annual goals through organization and providing accountability. 
  • Take on special projects to explore new opportunities for coach or management impact.

  • Great project management skills - organized, disciplined, strong note taker, comfortable following up on actionables / holding people accountable, able to think ahead and catch problems before they arise.
  • Adaptable, strong listener, comfortable providing feedback. 
  • Understands their role of “leading from behind”, and leans into this. 
  • People Oriented - high emotional intelligence, relationship builder, empathetic, works well with different people types. 
  • Strong Communication skills - clear verbal and written communicator, summarizes information succinctly, able to adapt communication to different audiences.
