Chief of Staff - Global Sales/North America Region

The Chief of Staff is charged with directly supporting the Chief Revenue Officer as well as the sales organization at large. This person will be a thought partner to the CRO on all matters, from how to operationalize and prioritize the team, to strategy development and execution. You will help turn ideas and strategy into execution through goal setting exercises, developing and optimizing business reporting mechanisms, leading communications across the senior sales leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Key advisor and thought partner to the Chief Revenue Officer. Act as an extension of sales leadership, representing the team in cross-functional meetings and in open forums. Take on key decisions and act on behalf of the CRO.
- Partner with the CRO in setting and communicating overall sales strategy globally and North America key regional objectives.
- Owns tracking and status of all sales initiatives globally. Ensure strategy cascades to the broader organization.
- Support the CRO in setting overall communication strategy, planning of internal events and aligning internal communications.
- Organizes and oversee sales QBRs, North America Leadership meetings, all hands and comms to business
- Manage budget with finance
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with key partners across the organization
- Support and interact with executive leadership and key partners in supporting the development of business processes, inclusive of long-term goals and objectives and facilitate sales leadership team collaboration
- Support the planning process for the sales team and be a trusted and critical adviser to the CRO and relevant partners during strategy formulation, development, and execution
- Help to program manage complex global sales initiatives and launches working with all key stakeholders to define project outcomes, keep on track and hold accountable to KPIs
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in structuring and executing complex analyses to support strategy in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Sophisticated understanding of sales performance metrics and KPIs
- Excellent analytic, strategic thinking, organizational planning, and execution skills.
- Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across teams, both with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Exceptional verbal, presentation, listening and written communication skills.
- Excellent program/project management skills with ability to drive complex strategic and operational initiatives.
- 8+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, sales strategy or operations at a technology company preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sales reporting systems e.g. Salesforce, Tableau and other sales tools
- Self starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
