Reporting to the CEO, Owen Tripp, the Chief of Staff is responsible for driving alignment, clarity and accountability across the executive team. You will drive the overall operating cadence of the company, raise the standard of leadership within the organization, manage key corporate initiatives, and manage staff and activities within the office of the CEO. Most importantly, you will create leverage for the CEO.


This role is located in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a sounding board for the CEO and other executives; represent the CEO in key meetings he can’t attend. 
  • Partnership on key strategic initiatives, including M&A activities Prepare the CEO for all meetings, speaking engagements, etc.
  • Ensure the focus and purpose of the CEO’s time.
  • Act as board liaison; work with CFO on board preparation and EA on board logistics.
  • Facilitate weekly executive staff meetings including setting agenda and content prep.
  • Drive the overall operating cadence for the company; manage the corporate calendar.
  • Work with the executive team to set annual Corporate OKRs and quarterly Product Line (with the GMs) and Department OKRs.
  • Identify conflicts (strategic, resources, etc.) and drive broad prioritization of company initiatives/projects.
  • Plan and facilitate Quarterly Ops Reviews and Business Operations Leadership Team meetings.
  • Planning, content and execution for executive offsites.
  • Manage staff in the office of the CEO - EA and Executive Communications

Role Requirements:

  • 5+ years leadership experience, both direct management and managing through influence.
  • 3+ years recent healthcare experience.
  • MBA or 10 years relevant work experienceSuccessful track record of leading & delivering large, complex, cross-functional projects.
  • You must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
