About Us

Brightline is on a mission to build a bright future for every child, bringing extraordinary behavioral health care to children and families.

We’re in the middle of a behavioral health crisis that we can’t ignore—especially not when it comes to our children. 1 in every 5 children has a behavioral health condition, yet up to 80% still get little or no help. Far too many families face insurmountable barriers when their child really needs help, and parents are too often left feeling alone and without the support they need. We can do so much better. That’s why we’re here!

Brightline is convening a team of leading coaches, clinicians, technologists, business leaders, and creative thinkers to completely transform what behavioral health care looks like. Together, we’re building exceptional technology and real-world care to bring a warm, supportive, and goal-oriented experience to families. And we’re all here to help children and families thrive.

About the Role

We are looking for a Clinical Manager who has extensive experience utilizing CBT and other evidence-based therapies to support children, teens, and families.  The right candidate will be passionate about providing direct clinical care, but will also be skilled in supervising masters’-level therapists.  Experience training clinicians in evidence-based therapies is a plus, as is experience in the development and implementation of QA programs.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Clinical Work: Provide short-term CBT to approximately 12-15 children, teens, or families each week.
  • Clinical supervision: Provide weekly group clinical supervision and individual supervision, to masters’-level clinicians (each cohort is expected to be approximately 10 clinicians).
  • Training: Work with team to help design and implement trainings in CBT for children, teens, and families for masters’-level clinicians at Brightline
  • Quality Assurance:  With the Head of Therapy and other team members, help design and implement a QA process that ensures Brightline clinicians continue to provide high-quality care to our members
  • Team Building: An important part of this role is working to keep team morale high, as we quickly scale this 100% remote team.
  • On-Call Consultation: Provide consultation during and after work hours to clinical and non-clinical team members

About You

You will thrive in this role if you have:

  • A doctoral or masters degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field
  • An active license to practice psychology in at least one state
  • Extensive experience delivering and supervising the delivery of CBT to children, teens, and families
  • A willingness to be flexible. Pivot as needed. Jump in when there’s a need.
  • A passion for our mission to redefine behavioral health for children and their families
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
  • Experience in delivering electronic care
  • The drive to be part of building something new - to work hard, to move quickly, to be your best self and to adapt to the constant change and evolution of a start-up.

The Brightline team is headquartered in the SF Bay Area although this is a remote position and the right fit is deemed most important.

Brightline is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all applicants from every background and life experience to apply.
