CRO Executive Communications Manager

Zoom is searching for a seasoned, driven communication professional to support our Chief Revenue Officer and direct reports. You will identify internal and external communication opportunities to further build and support the Sales organization. You must be a strategic and creative thinker and be able to synthesize complex info on diverse subject matter and integrate data gathered from multiple sources into clear and concise communications plans.
Responsibilities will include building out the executive communications role for the sales organization. Major components of the role include developing executive platforms and POVs, defining key messages, creating and managing internal and external speaking opportunities, partnering on org-level all-hands, driving internal executive comms, and developing compelling content that resonates with employees, customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
The ability to work on a diverse team is an essential element for this role as you will closely align with members of the communications and sales teams. The position will report to the Global PR Lead.
Responsibilities
Partner with executive leaders to develop and implement executive messaging platforms and supporting communications strategies that span internal and external audiences.
Successfully drive implementation of executive focused communications projects such as internal employee communications and industry presentations specific to the department.
Develop and implement effective internal communications strategies, including the appropriate vehicles, cadence and audiences for communications on a wide variety of topics.
Build clear and strategic communications calendar with ability to execute and adapt to change
Partner with the chief of staff to develop employee engagement events, including regular All Hands meetings.
Develop executive presentations from inception to finished product.
Collaborate with the PR/AR teams on media and industry analyst engagements and provide messaging/story angle support throughout the engagement process.
Establish close relationships with executive leaders to build trust and establish confidence to provide coaching/guidance on effective communications skills.
Build out and nurture executive external presence on social platforms such as Twitter and LinkedIn
Qualifications
8-10 years of executive communications experience supporting a VP or above level of senior executive.
Experience working in tech and supporting sales/revenue organizations strongly preferred
Ability to build trust and interact with execs with confidence, proactively driving outcomes and providing insightful counsel.
Excellent writing skills with specific focus on executive communications content: executive blog posts, video content, departmental emails, presentations and messaging for media/analyst engagements.
Must have experience working with outside presentation and other content development vendors and event teams.
Change management communications experience is preferred.
Self-starter, detail oriented, proactive, ability to work both independently and in teams.
Demonstrated ability to create high-quality work with limited guidance, delivering results with good judgment in a fast-paced environment.
High degree of flexibility, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent project and time management skills; experience with collaboration tools such as Asana
Exceptional PowerPoint and/or Google Slides skills; knowledge of Photoshop, HTML and SharePoint a plus
Team player with low ego willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
Four-year college degree (BS or BA), preferably in English, communications or journalism
