Our Growth Mindset (The Mission):

Think back on your time in school and a project or experience that got you fired up, curious, and motivated to try your best. Can you remember one? If you’re like us, there are some projects we remember decades later -- those times when we were so engaged in what we were doing that we couldn’t help but learn.

Seesaw is a learning platform that brings educators, students and families together to deepen student learning. Teachers design and facilitate powerful learning experiences, students create, reflect, collaborate and make their learning visible, and families actively support and celebrate student learning. Seesaw is used by millions of K-12 students in over half the schools in the U.S.

The Curriculum (Your Role):

As a Customer Success Manager, SMB you will be expected to achieve assigned renewal and expansion sales goals within assigned partners through:

Relationships - Develop and manage relationships with key decision makers and influencers at school districts through a mid-touch, one-to-many communication strategy. You manage and launch campaigns to increase engagement with assigned SMB customers. You at a minimum are talking to two customers a day on the phone helping customers get them most out of Seesaw for Schools.

Efficiency - Develop and implement strategies to save time spent per account without sacrificing service

Sales - Own all renewal/expansions for SMB accounts

Your Classmates (The Team):

One of the best reasons to work on the CSM team at Seesaw is our ability to work directly with customers and add value to educators in a hands on way. Our team has direct access to district leaders and trainers, and is the frontline team interacting with our valuable customers. This role represents a new customer segment at Seesaw. You’ll be able to join a new team, where you’ll collaborate closely with our Strategic, Enterprise, Mid-Market and SMB Customer Success Managers. You’ll also collaborate closely with the Support team and help them in escalating issues. You’ll partner with our product teams in examining and creating trends. You’ll learn about the K-12 education market and how to serve and sell into that market. And best of all you’ll gain empathy from an educator standpoint where you’ll gain a newfound respect and admiration for teachers, their students and families, and the curriculum which serves a variety of diverse groups and backgrounds.

Subject Matter (Your Responsibilities):

  • Manage a portfolio of our smaller school partnerships and accounts
  • Manage all escalations from SMB accounts: via email and phone calls with customers
  • Lead consultative meetings with key stakeholders using data
  • Own all renewal/expansions sales process for a portfolio of SMB accounts

Prerequisites (The Requirements):

  • Relationship Building - You are personable. You listen well. Your actions match your words so when you make a promise you keep it. As a result, people like, trust and rely on you.
  • Client/Project Management skills - You can organize and lead a project by influencing and coordinating the actions of people outside your direct control - inside the organization and out.
  • Proactive Personality - You have a preference to create and control a situation rather than react to events. You are assertive and know when to push.
  • A Passion for Education - You have a strong desire to use your skills to help support teachers and students.
