Customer Success Manager - Commercial (SF/Bay Area)

As a Customer Success Manager at DroneDeploy, you will be responsible for enabling customers post-sales, driving adoption within their organization and ensuring high retention and account growth. Working directly with our customers as their trusted advisor, product expert and advocate you will be an integral part of DroneDeploy’s success. Responsibilities:
- Onboarding, training and enabling new accounts to get the most out of their new investment in DroneDeploy
- Monitor activity and identify trends in adoption and utilization to assess potential churn risk, and providing guidance to customers to increase value
- Impart technical leadership and direction on all aspects of DroneDeploy products and services
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders in your account portfolio via a proactive customer lifecycle
- Strongly advocate the customer’s point of view and provide detailed internal feedback to cross-functional teams regarding how DroneDeploy can better serve our customers, improve their experience, and better the customers’ outcomes with our services
- Drive and manage the renewals process and accurately forecast renewals for customer base
- Track accounts to identify churn risk and work proactively to eliminate such risks
- Identify account expansion and cross-organizational opportunities for growth and work with your Mid-Market Account Executive counterpart to ensure a successful close
- Ensure any account issues are resolved quickly, utilizing resources from across Technical Support, Sales, Engineering, etc.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role (customer success, consulting, professional services, or account management), working with customers throughout their lifecycle from Onboarding through to Renewal
- Technical experience or aptitude in working with SaaS platforms
- Experience leading/running business reviews
- Experience owning renewals
- Responsible for growth identification
- Data-driven and strategic thinker who is able to consult with partner customers to drive adoption within their program
- Proven track record in managing customer relationships and delivering results
- Exceptional ability in organization, project management, time management, and communication skills
- Diligence and organization in follow-up processes - document all calls/customer interactions in CRM
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Bonus:
- Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, Jira, and other SaaS products
- Background in the construction, energy, mining or agricultural industries
- Background in GIS or photogrammetry
