About the Team
The Crunchyroll Store team is dedicated to super serving anime fans by offering the best selection of merchandise, seamless UX and outstanding customer service. We are grounded upon team values: Hard Working, Integrity, Humility, Generosity and Fun.
You are a high-performance leader who is results-oriented and highly collaborative. You have a passion for developing consumer-centric strategies, are thoughtful, proactive, and confident without an ego and willing to get your hands dirty.
You will obsess over the consumer journey, outstanding consumer and fan experiences and work to remove friction in the experience by proposing a set of consumer-facing actions.
Crunchyroll COVID-19 Hiring Status
Crunchyroll employees are currently working from home, and we are still conducting remote interviews and hiring during this time. This role is expected to start remotely, and we’ll work closely with you as we understand every person has unique circumstances.

Our headquarters is located in downtown San Francisco, where our group of cross-functional specialists assemble to build experiences for Crunchyroll's passionate communities.
A Day in the Life:
- Lead the vision for the Crunchyroll Store with responsibility to develop and execute key site and consumer strategies
- Own responsibility for business performance and customer experience metrics—optimizing site operations, finding opportunities, and flexing strategies to achieve sales growth and consumer strategies
- Lead all aspects of the eCommerce group with the goal of continually optimizing site merchandising to drive both top line sales and margin results
- Drive the cross-functional partnerships to successfully implement the roadmap and to achieve both sales and customer objectives (e.g., acquisition, retention, loyalty, NPS)
- Deliver robust competitive intelligence to monitor trends and digital best practices
- Build and develop an outstanding eCommerce team; optimize processes and drive new ways of working with a digital first approach
- Be a leader across the internal organization to influence strategies across product, UX, marketing, and more
About You:
- 10+ years’ experience within the digital commerce or retail industry.
- Business problem-solving & collaboration
- Communication and presentation skills
- Overall planning and coordinating proficiency
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus in business; or equivalent experience
- Data driven and consumer obsessed.
- A deep attention to detail and dedication to accuracy and precision.
- An ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.
- An ability to work and learn independently and collaboratively on complementary teams
- Anime + pop culture fan a plus!
