About the role:

We're seeking a Go to Market Operations Director to lead the team that will work directly with key growth leaders (sales, strategic alliances, customer success and enterprise marketing), as well as leaders across the company on critical strategic, organizational and operational projects designed to help accelerate growth and strengthen go-to-market operations across our business. You will manage a small team consisting of sforce.com architect, administrator and business analysts.  The person will collaborate with leaders in sales, operations, product, marketing, legal and finance to evolve processes and infrastructure, including optimization of saleforce.com and other related systems. Your data-driven insights and leadership on strategic & operational initiatives will help influence the growth trajectory of Grand Rounds and allow us to resolve the most important strategic and operational issues facing the business. The right individual must be able to manage competing priorities and adapt to change.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of Grand Rounds as a company, our product set, competitive landscape and key internal stakeholders
  • Form a deep knowledge of our enterprise architecture and salesforce.com implementation
  • Develop an understanding and assessment of our customer lifecycle and account management strategies and formulate hypothesis on how we optimize for net dollar retention and expansion
  • Complete a gap analysis on current state and heat map on recommended high priorities for process implementation, re-engineering and optimization with respect to the key business processes that drive bookings and revenue
  • Lead programs from vision and strategy setting to implementation with key stakeholders and cross functional partners to make data-driven decisions on topics including: forecasting, growth strategy, territory optimization, process improvement, sales incentive design, and product mix analysis
  • Partner with sales executives on operational and analytical requests
  • Establish strong working relationships with sales leadership, business operations, systems, FP&A and other cross-functional teams to achieve objectives
  • Gain management confidence in work such that the insights you produce are utilized in executive presentations
  • Develop and own long term strategic programs roadmap designed to increase revenue, sales productivity and operational efficiency
  • Sponsor and initiate programs to drive world class operations enabling the scaling of our business

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of Sales Operations experience (forecasting, pipeline management, quota setting, territory planning and sales incentive comp)
  • Deep experience analyzing data and the ability to use data to drive insights and decision-making
  • Strong understanding of technology and its application to improve sales productivity thru sales process optimization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience with senior management
  • Strong project management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
