We're looking for a driven and experienced supply chain and logistics professional with a strong desire and ability to deal with ambiguity in the absence of defined systems and processes - this is what you will be building! A perfectionist, obsessing over all the details in order to optimize our current logistics within our supply chain operations. We want you to take the lead on escalated and complex issues to pioneer a structure and process to our existing ordering and warehouse operations, such as forecasting and buying across markets, and overall supply chain management.

Who you are:

 

-Experience: 6+ years supply chain & operations experience; preferred 3+ years in Management Consulting/Strategy/Operations roles

 

-BS in Supply Chain, Business Management or related field

 

-Excellent project management and cross-functional team leadership skills.

 

-Strong Excel skills; ability to pull reports and create basic modeling based on available data

 

-Self-starter with ability to move quickly and be accountable for projects from Day 1

 

-Strong written and verbal communicator. Ability to process and articulate complex data in a clear way that can drive business decisions

 

-Biased to action characterized by strong listening skills and ability to quickly detect cause of complex operational issues

 

 

 What you will do:

 

-Work with 3PL to enforce agreed upon KPIs, storage of goods, and record keeping of inventory

 

-Negotiating and managing inbound and outbound shipments and deliveries

 

-Act as escalation point for day of delivery to field teams

 

-Find new 3PL relationships if necessary, and own the relationship life cycle

 

-Work with procurement and accounting teams to ensure inventory and logistics accounting is accurate

 

-Implement and drive new supply chain processes across 3rd party logistics accounts to improve efficiency, productivity, and costs

 

-Develop and implement strategic logistics solutions; select and manage key supply chain partners – e.g. customs brokers, freight forwarders, inland transportation, etc.

 

-Seek opportunities to increase efficiency through new technologies

 

-Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and perform end of month inventory and 3PL service reconciliations
