We are looking for our first Organizational Learning & Development function to develop, implement, and lead our organization and talent development programs around the world. 

As our Director of Global Organizational Learning & Development, you will lead and execute the global, learning, and OD programs—developing and delivering these programs in partnership with the business leaders, HR Business Partners, and external vendors across the globe. You will be using leading-edge models and practices to support the company’s strategic objectives.

You will have the opportunity to build this function from the ground up and make an impact on a global scale in a hyper-growth organization. You will have cross-functional visibility into how Redis will develop its current and future talent. This is a key role for the HR team and will report to the Chief People Officer in CA.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify key organizational needs by developing large-scale initiatives to drive organizational change.
  • Create and deliver training and onboarding programs for new and existing Redis employees to improve individual and organizational performance.
  • Partner with business and HR leadership and serve as a trusted advisor for learning and OD programs. Evaluate and implement online learning tools such as Udemy and Litmos.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, creative, and impactful virtual, in-person, and blended learning experiences to improve individual and organizational performance and development.
  • Lead and overseas cross-company global projects such as Performance Review and Engagement Surveys. 
  • Monitor and continually improve the effectiveness of learning and OD programs to ensure overall worthwhile impact and value.

What will you need to have?

  • 8+ years experience in Organizational Learning and Development roles in mid-size or large global organizations.
  • Experience within hyper-growth global technology organizations - required.
  • Strong ability and hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and facilitating stable yet agile global workshops and training programs in a fast-paced organization.
  • Strong track record of developing effective and consultative relationships across all levels of an organization, including executives. 
  • Proven experience leading global organizational processes, e.g Performance Management and Engagement Surveys.
  • Experience with implementing online learning tools and working with external training vendors. 
  • Strong program management and execution skills; self-motivated and assertive, with the ability to seek answers and drive solutions.
  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.

Our office is located in a suburban neighborhood, but Downtown Mountain View and plenty of great eats are a five-minute drive away!
