Position: Director, OT Network and Security Transformation

Position Overview:

The Director, OT Network and Security Transformation role reports to the Head of OT Network and Security Transformation within the Office of the CEO. This leader is responsible for partnering with the global sales teams, solution architects, product management and product marketing to engage with Zscaler's most strategic prospects, customers and alliance partners to bring to market innovative security transformation for OT and IoT security. 

This is a high-profile high visibility role requiring a deep understanding of security and networking technology, strong leadership skills and an understanding of how to navigate enterprise organizational structures to influence OT/IoT buying decisions. You will help us meet the requirements of our rapidly growing customer base and be game changers in the OT/IoT security space. You must possess a blend of business and technical skills, have a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality with extreme attention to detail. This role requires working with product management and interacting with customers, executing go-to-market strategy and supporting sales.

 Responsibilities: 

• Define, document and prioritize product requirements based on market research and customer feedback.
• Engage with customers to demonstrate proof of concept/ proof of value with alpha/beta stage products
• Present, advocate and evangelize the company's solutions in customer meetings and conferences.
• Create market requirements and business cases for new product initiatives and get executive buy-in.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of networking and OT security architectures and engage in technical discussions with network and security architects of large enterprises and strategic partners.
• Respond to prospect's, customer's and partners' concerns during meetings by articulating clear and concise information on the benefits of Zscaler solutions.
• Work with sales teams to promote visibility and opportunities.

 Qualifications: 

• Experience for this position is typically gained by 5+ years of success in a similar role working for a vendor or a customer. 
• Prior experience in a customer facing role as product manager, sales engineer or a solution architect is a must. 
• Strong technical foundation in networking and network security technologies (e.g., Secure Web Gateways, VPNs, Firewalls, DLP, SIEM, CASB )
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute on large, complex SaaS solution opportunities.
• Demonstrated hands on technical skills with scripting tools like python.
• Strong understanding of how to navigate large enterprise organizational structures
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-departmental collaboration on strategic initiatives
• Experience managing executive-level relationships
• Excellent communication - both writing and speaking, follow-up skills and interpersonal skills
