Director, Product Management (Post-Diagnosis Lifecycle)

You Will:
- Lead cross-functional teams to define and deliver business cases, planning and execution activities for development and commercialization of post-diagnosis cancer detection products serving our pharma business.
- Ensure that the post-diagnostic product roadmap, strategies and plans are coordinated across all departments and aligned with company goals.
- Perform trade-off analyses, make recommendations to management and work cross-functionally to understand all technical and non-technical roadblocks and resolve them. Cross-functional partners include R&D, bioinformatics/data science, biostats, lab operations, clinical development, software product/engineering, commercial, medical affairs, quality, regulatory, legal, senior and executive leadership.
- Collect and analyze customer and key opinion leader feedback to help improve our post-diagnostic products and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Manage external relationships with customers, partners and vendors.
- Develop clear and impactful product requirements, strategy documents, and presentations.
- Ensure the quality of decisions and results across all stages of the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch.
- Ensure all assay development, validation, regulatory and quality requirements are understood and met.
- Participate in group and company activities to shape future common processes.
- Support translational and technology transfer activities as needed.
Your Background Includes:
- Motivated by making the world a better place and a desire to contribute to GRAIL’s mission.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and MBA and/or advanced Life Sciences degree (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in product strategy, product management, product development or related work.
- Related industry experience in oncology, diagnostics and drug development, and track record of bringing NGS products to market (RUO, LDT and CDx).
- Solid understanding of diagnostic test development, including familiarity with assay development, analytical and clinical validation, and regulatory and quality requirements.
- Proven track record to collaborate and work cross-functionally to get results in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to get things done and grow responsibility over time.
