About the Role:

The Director of Professional Services is an executive with experience building and growing a Professional Services practice in a high growth SaaS organization. This is an exciting role for a team player who is looking to shape an organization from the ground up. The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to scale the Professional Services department by developing KeepTruckin’s technical customer solutions offerings through fast, efficient, and thoughtful processes. They will work with  KeepTruckin’s most valuable and technically advanced customers to ensure that their custom API, feature, integration and reporting needs are fulfilled. If selected, this person will oversee, guide and lead technical implementation and project management teams. A strong technical background and an excellent ability to partner with customers, external business partners and colleagues in Sales, Engineering and Customer Success alike is a must.

What You'll Do:

  • Build, scale and lead a world class Professional Services organization
  • Own our PS strategy, hiring, implementation methodology, services P&L, and project success criterias.
  • Develop and implement KPIs to ensure the success of all Professional Services activities
  • Work with the Commercial, Midmarket and Enterprise Sales and Customer Success teams to adapt our services sales, product and partner strategy to the advances a dedicated PS org will bring.
  • Guide the efforts of the department while providing oversight to senior leaders and stakeholders on all active implementations while ensuring that KeepTruckin delivers agreement on time, on budget and to a high degree of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Actively manage practice financials including team utilization, budget vs actual hours and project margins
  • Ensure adherence to best practice implementation processes while continuously working to improve PS methodologies
  • Be the escalation point for project issues both internally and externally with business partners and customers while seeking to always drive customer alignment and accountability

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience building a mid-large sized PS organization that scaled during a period of high growth
  • Experience recruiting and leading a high-functioning team
  • 10+ years client facing software implementation and/or consulting experience, with demonstrated success managing enterprise scale SaaS projects
  • Engineering background strongly preferred, candidate should have a working knowledge of in software development lifecycles, integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi), enterprise APIs, and/or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience working with Revenue Operations (Marketing Ops & Sales Ops) with an understanding of emerging trends, GTM processes and technologies
  • Ability to confidently interface and build trust with Director, VP and C-Level Sales and Marketing leaders in our client accounts
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to make trade-off decisions
  • Working familiarity with technical builds, including but not limited to API integrations, SQL queries and complex software environments
  • Experience with the trucking and/or logistics industry is an asset
