The Role

Lark is seeking a talented Director, Technology Operations to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for the effective prioritization, communication, and delivery of product initiatives. This role will be hands-on, setting up, training, and managing our product delivery systems, while also taking on other projects. 

What You’ll Do

  • Improve effectiveness of delivery by using metrics, trends, and post-mortems learnings to proactively mitigate anticipated challenges and improve existing processes
  • Assist in the setup and facilitating of team agile ceremonies, dependency management between teams, and manage large initiatives that cut across teams
  • Create communication processes about the status of an initiative to internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish a system to ensure teams are keeping Jira updated and accurate to be able to maintain visibility into what is being delivered and track progress. Including developing processes and reporting mechanisms for self-monitoring
  • Manage changes to process improvements  - documentation, communication, training, and monitoring
  • Structuring the wiki as a central repository for information, making it easier to create, maintain, and find information needed.
  • Oversee project scopes and schedules, keeping the team on track to meet deadlines
  • Facilitate initiative quarterly and exception intake processes from stakeholders as well as cross-solution prioritization and issue management

What You’ll Need

  • Experience setting up and scaling a project management practice in a small fast paced healthcare technology delivery company
  • Understand how to interact and deliver with payor and provider partners in the healthcare industry
  • Innate capability to create order out of chaos in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, fluid environment
  • Team and department level change management experience
  • Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, leaders, and clients to take desired action
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors in a STEM field, a Master’s is preferred
  • 8-10 years’ experience in project management
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role within project management, business or engineering related fields
  • Healthcare industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Tool’s admin experience with Jira and/or Confluence is a plus

Lark offers the option to work remotely when both the employee and the job are suited to such an arrangement and when the employee and their manager are in alignment with the work location and working hours. This option is only applicable to U.S. employees. To accommodate all employees, we have identified the “core” period of the day during which all employees are required to work for scheduled meetings, syncs, scrums between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Pacific time. The company is headquartered in Mountain View, CA.
