We are looking for a detail-oriented, student-centered, customer-facing professional to support the external and internal delivery of our online educational programs and ensure a seamless student experience.

Pathstream is looking for an Enrollment Operations Specialist to be both external-facing and highly collaborative within our internal team as we deliver our online courses directly to students. This is a role that blends an enrollment advisor and registrar position into one, ensuring that the student experience is seamless from beginning to end. It requires both a service-oriented mindset as you respond to student questions via email and phone, and operational aptitude and tech savviness as you carefully manage the detailed enrollment processes and tools.

This role is critical to the success of our programs and the overall experience of our students. A successful Enrollment Operations Specialist has a keen sense of what students from all backgrounds need in their learning journey, a professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with others, a calm and solution-oriented attitude when troubleshooting issues, and acute attention to detail and superb organization skills. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the systems and procedures that will help us scale the reach of our online courses.

This is a full-time position that reports to the Director of Operations, Program Delivery. This position can be remote or based at Pathstream’s headquarters in downtown San Francisco, CA.

We provide course instruction, project evaluation, enrollment support, 24/7 technical support, and career services to ensure our students are successful  in their learning.

THE ROLE

  • Contribute to the operational processes to properly enroll students in our courses using a variety of technical tools and operational systems
    • Set up new programs and courses in our LMS and learning platform
    • Enroll students and instructors in the proper course sections
    • Manage student records, grades, and course access
    • Process extension, deferral, and withdrawal requests
  • Respond to customer support tickets related to students’ in-program experience
    • Support students via email and phone as they manage their course work
    • Provide information about and enforce our academic and enrollment policies
    • Help students achieve their learning goals while meeting our NPS and completion rate targets
  • Follow standard operating procedures related to data entry and documentation; evaluate current tools and systems; help improve and streamline processes
  • Assist with general program administration; create internal-facing materials for instructors, evaluators, and admins; create external-facing resources for students
  • Contribute to Pathstream’s overall program delivery strategy

  • Strong written and verbal communication: You can interact with a variety of adult learners in a manner that is professional, personable, patient, and precise whether via email or over the phone
  • Strong technical ability: Your comfort with LMSs, CRMs, spreadsheets, and databases allows you to manage the tools and automate the processes that allow us to scale

  • Nice to have:
    • Prior experience in a startup and/or education/edtech environment
    • Prior experience using D2L’s Brightspace LMS and Airtable
    • Familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
    • Basic data entry and/or analysis skills
