Blend Title Insurance Agency is seeking a TX Manager to oversee StateOperations and support all facets of the Texas title and settlement environment. Our ideal candidate has knowledge and confidence to efficiently serve in an oversight capacity and work with other Managers to grow and scale the operations. This is a challenging, fast-paced, and rewarding position at the nerve center of a dynamic, scaling Title Agency.

How you'll contribute:

• Hire, manage and mentor the staff, fostering their growth through development planning, performance management, and real-time feedback and coaching and delegate appropriate duties to supporting staff
• Organize and motivate your direct reports
• Represent the regional escrow department’s interests on internal calls and initiatives
• Manage all functions of the closing unit
• Follow company standards and practices when processing transactions, as well as applicable state laws and guidelines
• Create and implement plans to meet product objectives, develop volume projections to manage the current capacity and hiring plans
• Ensure the team has a prime focus on attention to detail and quality
• Develop and implement processes and track progress over time

Who you are:

• 5+ years experience in Title
• Licensed Escrow Officer in TX and TX Notary Commission
• Understands State escrow standards, title clearance, real estate regulations and guidelines, and document preparation
• Comprehends pay off per diems, tax prorations, interest, and the like
• Understands lender documents and recordings
• Confidence in reviewing title orders to determine conditions of title and considering effect of liens and encumbrances
• Attentive to details and has the ability adapt to new, different, or changing requirements
• Critical thinker, you use a logical thought process to analyze and draw conclusions
• Prioritizes the customer and driven to fulfill their needs
• Demonstrates a willingness to work and seeks out new work challenges
• Plan and prioritizes work to manage time effectively and accomplish assigned tasks while working effectively with others
