We are looking for an Executive Assistant to partner with our executives in tech, the Head of Product and Head of Engineering. We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate is an adept problem-solver, with a relentless commitment to bring efficiency in managing time and projects. You’ll be responsible for keeping track of complex schedules, multiple priorities, and finding creative solutions balancing multiple partners.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the steward of time for our Head of Product and Head of Engineering, including scheduling meetings, arranging travel, prioritizing engagements, and supporting excellent time management.
  • Support the executives in all daily duties, ensuring that they are prepared, organized, and ready for what each day brings.
  • Liaise, communicate, and problem-solve across Product, Engineering, and Design teams. Brex is a highly cross-functional organization, and the role includes ensuring the executives’ teams stay on track towards long term goals.
  • Help organize, facilitate, and prepare for large team meetings and decision-making forums. Examples include product reviews or all-hands engineering meetings.
  • Plan and facilitate team events including offsites, happy hours, and celebrations.
  • Work closely with the Recruiting Team to schedule and facilitate interview schedules for the executives.
  • Collaborate with other Executive Assistants as needed.
  • Assist the executives as needed with presentations, meeting prep, project management.
  • Act as a culture carrier for Brex overall.
  • Some travel to our offices in Vancouver, New York City, or Salt Lake City may be needed.

What We Value

  • BA/BS degree
  • 2-4 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment, 1+ of those years supporting at the executive level.
  • Outstanding organizational, written/verbal communication, and listening skills, plus high attention to detail.
  • Strong team player attitude; needs to work well under pressure and be adaptable in the face of changing priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills.
  • Expert with G Suite (Gmail, Google docs, Google sheets, etc.)
  • High degree of discretion and integrity, especially when taking care of confidential information.

Brex is located in the East Cut, in between SOMA and FiDi a block from Salesforce Park and the Transbay Transit Center.
