About the Role

Rocket Lawyer is looking for a talented Executive Assist who can thrive in a fast-growing environment. We’re looking for a creative, savvy and outgoing Office Administrator/Executive Assistant to join our People Operations team and support our SF office and executives. The ideal person has meticulous attention to detail, adapts well to a fast-paced environment, and is the go-to administrative support the leadership team at Rocket Lawyer.

In this role, you will:

  • Proactively manage and prioritize meetings, events, travel, and ever-changing schedules
  • Maintain CEO's and other executives’ calendars, and ensure meetings contain the appropriate attendees and agenda items, and logistics are handled
  • Assist with event planning for department off-sites, morale/team building events, social events, team dinners, etc.
  • Coordinate executive communications, including taking meeting minutes and responding to emails
  • Register and greet guests, book rooms, ensure that critical meetings run on time
  • Assist with facilities management as needed
  • Take on various large and small tasks to support People Operations efforts
  • Provide general administrative duties and special projects as needed

  • Highly organized and have a strong track record of working independently in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Creative and able to exercise sound judgment
  • Adaptable and excellent at multi-tasking 
  • A Self-starter and always displaying professionalism, even under pressure
  • Great with startup office environments 
  • Friendly and have a positive professional demeanor
  • Excellent at prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong with interpersonal skills, and are an effective communicator.
  • Experienced in working with G-Suite (i.e. Google Calendar, Google Slides, Google Sheets)
  • Excellent communicator, both orally and in writing
