The role of the Field Operations Manager is to support Field Sales and Sales Leadership through Go-To-Market Planning, Sales Process Optimization, CRM System & Implementation, and driving operational initiatives to increase sales productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and sales operations lead to field sales and sales leadership 
  • Develop, track and manage the forecast process, performance analysis, metrics/KPIs to drive forecast accuracy
  • Partner with Sales and critical cross-functional teams to execute on annual planning (e.g. sales capacity planning, territory planning and management, comp plan design, quota setting, etc.) 
  • Monitor and review funnel and pipeline metrics weekly to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Drive sales analytics data gathering, reporting, and improvements
  • Implement best-practices and standardization of sales processes, keeping repeatability and scalability top of mind
  • Ensure alignment of Sales team with overall company objectives and priorities
  • Use data and qualitative information to drive and optimize our business
  • Structure and evaluate business problems, design and implement actionable recommendations, and track success metrics
  • Define programs and processes that promote landing new business, up-sell and cross-sell in partnership with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success 
  • Help drive the preparation of QBRs and sales leadership offsites 

Requirements

  • Proven track record of 2-5 years as a successful Field or Sales Operator; preferably in a high-growth software company 
  • Strong collaborator; experience working with multiple go-to-market teams cross-functionally 
  • Experience providing operational expertise and support to Sales Leadership and/or other relevant stakeholders 
  • Highly process and data-driven and able to present information in an engaging and convincing manner to internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to change altitudes (tactical, operational and strategic work)
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to navigate ambiguous circumstances
  • Proficiency in Excel, and prior experience with Tableau or SQL.
  • Well-versed leveraging Salesforce
