Molekule is looking for a Global Commodity Manager to join our Supply Chain Team. The Global Commodity Manager is responsible for sourcing and selection activities that align with Molekule’s technology and product roadmap. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and optimize cost to ensure the supply chain is capable of delivering materials to support production requirements.

What you will own

• Work closely with engineering to drive supply chain strategies that influence technical design decisions and capabilities
• Manage supplier relationships including performance, capabilities, cost and quality
• Lead cross functional commodity teams and develop technology commodity roadmaps aligning business requirements with supplier capabilities
• Responsible for supplier selection and AVL (Approved Vendor List)
• Lead QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) with strategic suppliers
• Drive suppliers and partners to execute on-time deliveries to meet manufacturing plans with CM (Contract Manufacture)
• Support clear to build (CTB) activities for Ramp and Mass Production (MP)
• Develop materials strategies for supporting critical milestones, including risk buys, safety/buffer stock
• Responsible for quarterly cost activities including cost downs, PPV reconciliation, CCF review and submission, and PO approvals

What you will bring

• 7+ years of relevant experience in engineering, operations, supply chain, or NPI
• Strong negotiation skills with Global Suppliers and/or Contract Manufacturers
• Experience launching high volume consumer electronic products with international Contract Manufacturers
• Familiarity with PCB fabrication, electrical components, passives, and/or display technologies
• Experience working with international teams across multiple time zones
• Experience working with NPI and Sustaining program teams at the Contract Manufacturer
• Strong presentation skills at the executive level
• Great if you have experience with Arena for PLM
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the year (domestic and international)
