An Insider's view of Planet

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

Planet challenges and motivates its employees to excel at work while also providing the freedom to do the things we love in our personal lives!

Radhika

FP&A Manager, Go To Market

What projects are you most excited about?

I'm excited about partnering with Chief Sustainability Officers to solve key environmental and social governance initiatives. My passions are preventing deforestation and reducing the impact of climate change through the tracking of carbon emissions. Planet's 24/7 satellite imagery/analytics makes working here less of a job, and more of a mission.

Jarrett

Account Executive

What makes someone successful on your team?

My team builds satellites. Not too many people in the world can say they do that. It is a unique club! To succeed on my team, you need passion, dedication and a sense of humor! Everyone in our lab is dedicated, smart and committed. Sure, schedules can be demanding, but we have fun while we do it. Working at Planet is not just a job, it's a mission!

Dalibor

Director, Manufacturing Engineering

What unique initiatives do you have that encourage innovation?

It's fascinating to see Planet’s satellite imagery unlock new capabilities for Earth observation. As a Marketing leader in Global Demand Generation I amplify our message and engage with various industries. I develop interesting ways to reach an audience and create awareness about Planet’s mission - use space to help life on Earth.

Tracy

Director of Global Demand Generation

What's something quirky about your company?

Planet is breaking barriers and creating new value proposition within earth observation. Traditional space companies do not operate with the agility and innovation that we do, however, the quirkiest aspect of all would be our people. Everyone you meet has a purpose that aligns with Planet's vision and an interesting story as to how they got here.

Pooja

Customer Success Engineer
