About the Role
The Global Strategy & Planning team supports the Delivery Leadership team to define our strategy globally as well as working collaboratively across all functions and markets to assist with identifying areas to improve alignment and execution.
There is huge growth potential for the Delivery business for many years to come. The Growth Strategy lead will help our global leadership team to identify and define our medium-term growth strategy (next 5 years) and help support the internal decision-making process to gain and prioritize to deliver on this plan.
In addition to validating our growth plans within our existing business lines and capabilities, the team will work collaboratively to understand trends, identify new opportunities and build robust business cases to get the business to the point of committing resources.
What You'll Do
• Support leadership and finance teams on validating long-term financial plans• Lead a small team of associates and collectively work with leadership to create and prioritise key growth opportunities for further consideration• Drive analysis and synthesise findings into clear recommendation for leadership and cross-functional teams to endorse• Build business cases and define resourcing and operating model for potential pilots• Support any new bets and opportunities until they reach scale and graduation into wider business
Basic Qualifications
• 6-8+ years of robust work experience in strategy consulting, startups, business intelligence, market intelligence, operations, or other relevant roles with a proven record of driving strategic insights and business impact• Critical Thinking: See and unlock new business opportunities, anticipate business trends, think deep while not losing sight of the bigger picture, and bring a data driven decision making mentality• Ambiguous problem solver: Take an ambiguous or complex business problem, resolve an approach to solve it, and guide your team to solve the problem• Clear Communicator: You are a clear and concise communicator able to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and generate concrete insights.
Preferred Qualifications
• Self-starter attitude: Being able to operate your team autonomously, propose new insights, drive the thinking, drive the "so what" and solve ambiguous problems will make you much more effective in this role• 80/20 mentality: Able to balance strong attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, and this should be a strength.• Standout Colleague: The ability to work with remote teams and across time zones to develop strategies and foster a cohesive and creative work environment
