Head of Business Systems

The IT team is looking for a Business Systems leader who will build and lead the team that will drive enterprise architecture, systems, integrations, and governance. You have well-honed problem solving and decision-making skills, are agile and adaptable, and can effectively manage change. You are highly strategic and will drive alignment with business partners, influence adoption, is results-oriented, and has a strong client service orientation. You’ll have a reputation for raising the bar in terms of quality and execution. Lastly, you’ll define processes and controls for business systems across the company, define and own SLAs, and create dashboards that determine the health of business systems across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and leverage internal and external partnerships across all business functions.
- Build the Business Systems roadmap, its execution, as well as all process improvement initiatives
- Understand company strategy and ensure that internal systems align with long-term business goals
- Understand strengths and weaknesses in system architecture, anticipating vulnerabilities, and developing contingency plans
- Standardize, customize, and optimize business systems in all areas of the company to drive effectiveness and efficiency, including NetSuite, Salesforce, Intercom, BambooHR, Greenhouse, etc.
- Drive instrumentation and optimization of processes across all departments and business owners
- Ensure data accuracy by developing standardized structures and practices for dissemination and communicate with appropriate departments
- Comfortable with breaking down complex systems to technical and non-technical staff members
YOU
- Degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in IT or similar function in a technical role
- 3+ years of experience owning Business Systems
- Salesforce
- Expert-level knowledge of enterprise SaaS applications, including financial and go-to-market systems.
- Passion for user experience
- Aptitude for developing teams; influencing and galvanizing others to follow you toward a solution
- Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills
