We are looking for a VP of Business Systems, Applications & IT to lead our internal business systems strategy across the company as we rapidly scale. The Business Systems and IT organization oversees all internal applications across Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, HR, Support, Operations, Product and Engineering. This includes core systems spanning Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, Mulesoft, Pactsafe and other third party applications.

About the Role

  • The VP of Business Systems, Applications & IT will be responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive strategy that integrates our IT systems and business applications
  • You will own both the IT budget and strategy
  • You’ll ensure optimal hardware and software needs are met with particular focus on IT Net Promoter Score and efficient SLA’s as defined in collaboration with business partners
  • You’ll be responsible for achieving the highest quality at the lowest cost 
  • Create strategies aligned with corporate plans of international expansion, new business launches, etc. 
  • You will be responsible for creating a seamless and efficient employee lifecycle including onboarding, facilities, and productivity

  • Lead the development of the business systems strategy and roadmap, and ensure successful integration of core systems and applications that support the company’s strategic plans
  • Centralize, organize and manage the business systems efforts and manage one core team to deliver solutions across the enterprise
  • Lead major business system projects, ensuring executives and partners are aware of outcomes and status
  • Coordinate cross functionally with business partners (HR, Internal Audit, Accounting, Sales, Tax, Business) to define business systems requirements for new technology implementations ensuring all parties’ needs are met
  • Manage IT operating and capital budget and drive operational efficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards in the US and internationally
  • You’ll be responsible for mentoring and growing the existing IT team to achieve operational excellence
  • You will hire and grow leaders of key business systems (i.e. Mulesoft, Workday, etc.)

  • You’ve previously been the Head of IT or Business Systems at a company with 5,000+ employees
  • You’ve overseen international operations (APAC, EU, US) with multiple engineering and support hubs
  • You have experience managing large full time workforces and distributed contractor teams 
  • 15+ years of relevant technical experience, including 8+ years in a leadership role 
  • Experience with Workday, Netsuite, Salesforce, and IT is required
