About us: Grand Rounds Health and Doctor On Demand merged in 2021 to form a first of its kind integrated virtual care company to raise the standard of healthcare for everyone, everywhere. Our team goes above and beyond to connect and guide people to the highest quality healthcare through products and services that give people the best possible healthcare experience.

Our personalized, longitudinal care services include virtual primary care, specialty care, integrated behavioral health, everyday and urgent care, chronic condition management and prevention, and 24/7 triage. We get members to the right care, at the right time through ongoing clinical navigation, expert medical opinions, and care coordination.

Named a 2019 Best Place to Work by Glassdoor and Rock Health’s 2018 Fastest Growing Company, Grand Rounds works with inspiring employers and doctors empowering them to be the change agents we need to make our shared vision a reality.

The team: The health plan/TPA team is focused on developing partnerships with payers to sell Grand Rounds Health and Doctor On Demand’s products. Additionally, once those partnerships are in place, we work closely with health plans/TPA’s to ignite and maximize sales developed through those channels. Much of our time is spent working with Sales, Product, Clinical, and Operational leaders at the health plans & TPAs. Additionally, as sales opportunities develop, there will be considerable time spent with brokers and customers as well as coordinating the internal resources to support our partners during their sales processes.

The role: The TPA & Health Plan Director will be tasked with leading relationships with carriers and TPAs and maximizing sales that are developed from these partnerships. Because these relationships are nascent, you may also need to create new sales processes (or modify existing processes) to meet the partnership’s needs. Ultimately, this position will be a critical part of Grand Round Health + Doctor On Demand’s growth engine and will be expected to deliver sales results.

Additionally, the Channel Partnership Director will provide key deal and market insights to GTM leadership and Product line general managers, helping to shape our products, packaging, and the way we message our solution broadly.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop a business strategy for increasing sales through health plan and TPA partners
  • Establish and foster key relationships with partner health plan and TPAs
  • Drive awareness and support of our products with the sales and marketing teams within the carriers and TPAs
  • Champion the needs of our health plan & TPA partners with internal audiences to ensure ongoing success
  • Continue to ignite pipeline activity to develop new revenue for the organization
  • Work closely with brokers and employer decision makers to drive sales
  • Present products to multiple audiences - including C-suite executives
  • Solving key business problems in partnership with internal teams
  • Develop a strong understanding of competitor products and differentiation
  • Maintain reporting and CRM data for sales leadership review

What makes you a great fit:

  • 5+ years of customer-facing experience in health and benefits
  • Prefer someone who has experience selling products to heath plans or TPAs - or, have experience selling products through channel partnerships with carriers or TPAs
  • Experience working for or with carriers and/or brokers
  • Previous experience managing channel partnerships in a B2B sales environment
  • Proven track record of building relationships and partnerships in healthcare benefits ecosystem
  • Strong analytical ability with the ability to understand and communicate complex financial/pricing arrangements, ROI, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information and messages to a broad and diverse audience
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for the healthcare ecosystem
  • Ability to travel (amount TBD but likely less than 25%)
