Summary:

Druva is seeking an IT Specialist to support our HR function. As the primary liaison, this role will partner with HR, IT, and executive leadership to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities & HR processes. The HR IT Specialist builds project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules, maintains a systems orientation and can work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning. This position also assists with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, and report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. This role requires a unique blend of project management and System Administration responsibilities as well as a good understanding of HR policies and procedure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with executive leadership, HR, and IT to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions
  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users
  • Compiles complex data reports, summaries, and logs for executive leadership and HR
  • Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports
  • Ensures system compliance with data security, privacy, and legal requirements
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology
  • Develops user procedures, guidelines, and documentation and trains end users
  • Assist in testing and implementation of upgrades and changes to systems

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Systems, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3+ years of HRIS experience
  • Experience in supporting a variety of HR applications including: payroll, time/attendance, talent management, compensation, and recruitment
  • Strong MS Excel and reporting skills, experience in developing and maintaining BI reports
  • Proven experience with a variety of HR software solutions
  • Extensive familiarity with leading HRIS solutions
  • Excellent project management and written and verbal communication skills
