IT Lead
We are hiring an IT Lead at DataGrail! As IT Lead working with the IT and Security team, you’ll administer
the various services and technologies used at DataGrail. You will be empowered and supported to
provide excellent service and technology outcomes for DataGrail employees. You will help ensure that our
IT services are secure and accessible to our remote workforce. This role will participate in security
activities that can be hard to find in more traditional IT roles all while having the freedom to investigate
and deploy new approaches or technologies that can help DataGrail employees do their best work.
What You'll Do:
- Provide an excellent customer service experience for all DataGrail employees and contractors, as
measured by customer feedback and the time to complete common tasks. - Own administration of SaaS services utilized by DataGrail including account lifecycle
management, working with the security team to secure and monitor these services, and
managing service licensing. - Review current IT processes including onboarding new employees, administering cloud services,
and device management. Identify where these processes can be improved and implement those
improvements including creating documentation that can be used to scale the IT department. - Make recommendations and implement tools or software that can be used to automate repetitive
IT tasks, and ensure that tasks are completed uniformly each time they are performed. - Partner with the Security team to gather information to aid in incident investigations and auditing
SaaS tools and accounts.
What You Need:
● 1-3 years of administration experience with Google Workspace, Okta, and Jamf Pro. Additionally,
you should have administration experience or be comfortable learning to administer additional
SaaS applications.
● Treat people with respect and understanding. Collaborate well cross-functionally, including with
engineering, product, sales, marketing and operations teams.
● Act on concerns before they become large scale problems and make recommendations to the
business that will enable it to scale up.
● Ability to create and maintain documentation for IT systems that can be used by IT team and
DataGrail employees to ensure all users are able to effectively onboard and utilize SaaS services.
● Ability to adjust to the quickly changing SaaS and IT landscape.
● This position is remote and focused on candidates in the United States. Folks located in the Bay
Area can choose to work from our downtown San Francisco office.
