The Role
We are looking for an experienced and people-centric IT Manager to lead and manage the IT Support Engineering team at Digit. In this role you will help ensure our employees are empowered with the technology they need to do the best work of their lives and oversee the delivery of outstanding technical support to our Digits both in our SF office and in remote locations. This is a hands-on leadership role based in San Francisco and reports to our Chief People Officer.
Your impact:

  • Help set and execute vision for nationwide IT support delivery for all Digits in their preferred workplace (remote or in office)
  • Manage, lead, and coach our talented IT Support Engineering team
  • Work alongside your team to resolve tickets quickly, handle escalated issues, and jump in where needed
  • Manage an internal help desk for all IT issues, including analyzing metrics, and optimizing IT service for an exceptional end user experience
  • Manage Digit’s user lifecycle program including maintaining the technical processes of onboarding, offboarding and other work status change events
  • Manage A/V delivery and support for our SF office
  • Oversee project prioritization and resource allocation for the IT Support Engineering team
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Digit leadership to provide the right tools to the right teams across the business
  • Assist in keeping Digit secure & PCI compliant
  • Manage inventory of equipment and other corporate IT assets and manage budget
  • Manage external vendors, contractors, & partners

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience in an IT role, with at least 2 years of people management experience
  • A great leader who inspires and leads their team to perform at their best and develops them for growth
  • Experience managing macOS & iOS devices, building and deploying polices, configs, and software using MDM (JAMF) for both in-office and remote employees
  • Experience configuring, running, and troubleshooting A/V in small and large conference rooms/spaces and helping run A/V meetings
  • You are comfortable being the escalation point for issues concerning all core IT systems
  • You have great communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; you build trust easily
  • You’re passionate about building automated tasks to help efficiency
  • You have a growth mindset and a desire to roll up your sleeves and build
  • Ability to lift 40+ lbs of tech equipment (i.e. monitors, computers, network equipment, etc)
