Docker is looking for a IT Specialist to ensure our SaaS-driven Corporate IT Operations run smoothly at all support levels. This is an excellent opportunity to join the leader in software containers and container platforms. 

Your background, knowledge, and deep experience in delivering IT services and managing the points of contact for help desk requests whether that be facilitating workflows or being hands-on when needed. You realize processes are our friends that build and help guide the team towards standardization. With an eye on continuous improvement, you are familiar with identifying and implementing automation. As a member of a growing pre-IPO company, you own a piece of the organization we are creating, and your work needs to reflect that mentality, culture, and work ethic.

Representative Responsibilities: 

  • Help create and maintain system standardization parameters for hardware/software
  • Own the queues and processes associated with the Service Desk Platform (JIRA Service Desk)
  • Oversee assignees’ queues and guides/ensures all tickets are being worked on/processed/closed in a timely manner in line with business continuity
  • Support our Cloud Stack (Google Suite, Atlassian, Slack, Zoom, and more)
  • Report out/communicate SLAs, performance, system health, monitoring, metrics, and incidences
  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding of staff
  • Help create, improve, and maintain processes and standards
  • Assist in full-cycle asset management (catalogue, repair, ship, inventorying, and purchasing)
  • Liaise with the other offices in EMEA and the US offices
  • Assist setting up for conferencing, meetings, etc., when needed
  • Available to come in early or stay late when events/issues call for it

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years corporate/start-up IT experience
  • Exhibits a high level of professionalism and respect of themselves and others
  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to administer: Atlassian (JIRA/Confluence/ServiceDesk), Okta, JAMF, AirWatch, G Suite, Office365, Slack, Sophos, Bitdefender, Dropbox, imaging tools
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and wireless networking concepts
  • Good grasp of Infosec policies in data/credential management/handling and access control
  • Experience with Azure, Active Directory, OpenLDAP, JumpCloud, Okta UDM
  • Ability to demonstrate a methodical and effective approach to projects and deadlines
  • Familiarity with Audio Visual conferencing/event tools (e.g., Lifesize, Zoom, Meetio, and BlueJeans)
  • Solid communication skills, including documentation
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Solid time management skills, including punctuality
  • Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to prioritize amongst competing tasks in a fast-paced, idea-rich environment
  • Eager to share knowledge and build awareness 
  • Experience with Macintosh/Windows/Linux environments, including troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated experience with ITSM/Service Desk platforms, preferably including an implementation
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
