The role reports to the Head of People.


The IT Technical Lead will provide technical support and ensure the whole company runs smoothly. IT Technical Lead monitors and maintains the company office computer systems and networks, installs and configures hardware and software, and solves technical problems.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provisioning, configuring, maintaining LAN and Wifi network using Cisco Meraki equipment.
  • Supporting connections to WAN locations using encrypted connections over VPC.
  • Provisioning, configuring, support for all office computers, printers, scanners, audio-visual hardware and licensed software.
  • Security scanning and data backup of user systems.
  • Tracking and responding in a timely manner to service issues and support requests
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone and may be on outside of business hours)
  • Creating, tracking and decommissioning of new user accounts in common business systems, including but not limited to G-Suite, Slack, Jira, Asana and others.
  • Managing the repair, decommissioning and inventory of equipment and roll-out of patches for licensed software as necessary
  • Documenting and communicating the best practices for maintaining the safety and security of equipment and IP data throughout the company
  • Finding technological solutions to user generated needs for equipment and software

In addition, key areas of responsibility include:

  • Installing and configuring office computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Setting up accounts for new hires and maintaining a high level of integrity around the employee experience
  • Testing new technology
  • Possibly training more junior staff member
