This position is based in San Francisco, CA and reports to the Senior Business Operations Manager.

What you'll do

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of state licensing activities for our medical team in collaboration with our Compliance and Medical teams. 
  • Manage the training and development of staff while fostering a culture aligned with our 7 guiding principles
  • Identify, prioritize and implement workflows and technologies to improve efficiencies and clinician satisfaction
  • Analyze and report on various key metrics and trends related to the licensure and clinician onboarding process
  • Collaborate with Compliance to research and maintain up to date records on state laws and regulations for clinicians and their scope of practice. 
  • Collaborate with Recruiting and Patient Operations teams to provide strategic input toward recruitment and licensing goals.

What you'll bring

  • 4+ years experience obtaining state licenses in a healthcare setting. State licensure experience for physicians, nurse practitioners and registered nurses is a must. Multi-state licensure experience preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in people management with strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced environment, adapt to change quickly, and understand what it means to work with a sense of urgency. 
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures. You like to innovate and find new, creative solutions and implement them to solve process inefficiencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to interface effectively cross functionally with other teams across the organization.
  • Communicate professionally, tactfully, and kindly while maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times
