We are seeking a competent IT Logistics Administrator to facilitate the shipping and receiving, procurement, and distribution of technology within Affirm. For our ideal candidate, organization, thoroughness, and efficiency are their greatest assets.

As an IT Logistics Administrator of a remote-first company, you will primarily focus on the physical aspects of IT within our San Francisco office, and ensure hardware across our organization is accurately tracked, distributed, and running smoothly.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, configure, and deploy computers, mobile devices, and other hardware to employees
  • Backup returned computers onto our local NAS, and prepare them for repurposing
  • Diagnose hardware issues on computers, mobile devices, and other office technologies
  • Implement a plan for repair or replacement of computers, mobile phones, and other hardware
  • Purchase hardware, including the tracking and receiving of, as well as sorting and organization of our stock
  • Log and keep track of inventory
  • Manage onsite printers, AV conferencing equipment, and other office hardware
  • Build lasting partnerships with vendors and shipping companies, and continually improve upon our processes to streamline tasks as much as possible

What We Look For

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with macOS administration and support
  • Ability to improvise and find immediate solutions
  • Experience managing formal ticketing systems
  • Mobile device management technologies
  • Able to lift 30 lbs. or more
  • Experience administering Jamf Pro
  • Experience administering Windows hardware
  • Experience troubleshooting Zoom Rooms
  • Ability to explain difficult technical concepts without condescension
  • Apple Certified Associate or ACSP certification
  • Automation and scripting experience

Location

We’re excited to announce that Affirm is now a remote-first company!  The majority of our roles can be accomplished anywhere in the U.S. and Canada (with the exception of Quebec).  While most Affirmers will have the option to choose a remote-first accommodation, our offices in San Francisco, New York City, Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Salt Lake City will remain operational and accessible for anyone to use on a voluntary basis. This role requires your physical presence in the office on a regular basis.
