Manager, Business Operations, Achievement (Multiple Locations)

Achievement is seeking a Business Operations Manager who will be responsible for operational excellence on our Achievement platform. Reporting to the head of Achievement operations, this role will focus on optimizing operational processes for scale, implementing engagement programs and strategies, and executing customer-sponsored work.
This role requires a broad range of skills, including, but not limited to, problem solving, cross functional collaboration, a keen eye for identifying and scaling processes and leading strategic operational initiatives, as well as the ability to understand and clearly articulate trade-offs, drive clarity, and test new ideas.
Candidates must be eager to learn, collaborative, a proven team leader with a bias towards action, and will be expected to support the day-to-day activities of existing programs as they hire, build, and manage their team. Ability to think high level as well as dive into the day to day work with the Operations team is a must. We are looking for individuals who thrive when given the freedom to create things from scratch and work with cross-functional stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for operational implementation and delivery of programs on Achievement
- Develop processes and documentation to help scale the strategy and operations team
- Hire, build, and manage team as function scales
- Manage and oversee team activities including appropriate resourcing of staff, staff assignments, quality control and efficiency of deliverables
- Own the analysis and reporting of various operational aspects (i.e. establish and measure KPIs) to help drive decision making as this function grows and develops
- Set quarterly initiatives and milestones and regularly track and present reporting on meaningful metrics and other relevant business insights
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS
- Proven operator who knows how to put the pieces together and execute projects efficiently and flawlessly
- Strong organization and project management skills, including ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects and processes simultaneously
- At ease with using data and analysis to guide decision making and comfortable pulling data in SQL or modeling in Excel
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal
- Comfortable with ambiguity and eager to partner both internally and externally to build creative solutions
- Must be self-motivated, fast-paced, team-oriented, extremely organized including attention to detail and multitasking
- Experience building and managing cross-functional teams
- Experience developing and deploying new processes for effective scaling
- Strong team player with proven ability to lead through influence
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA) preferred
- 3+ years people management experience
- 7+ years of experience in operations, technology, analytics or related experience
- Experience in consumer technology operations
- Start-up experience with companies
