Crunchyroll COVID-19 Hiring Status

A day in the life of our Global Partnerships & Content Strategy Team:
- Serve as a cross-functional interface to all departments: legal, finance, product, marketing, audience development, & more.
- Facilitate research and knowledge about new innovation in areas of content & distribution, all with an eye toward building & maintaining a pipeline of valuable potential partnerships.
- Advocate for team priorities / secure buy-in with Crunchyroll senior management, ensuring that internal teams have resources and company backing to secure and implement partnerships, as well as achieve strategic & operational goals..
- Maintain continuous and trusted dialogue with partners at all points in the pipeline: negotiation, implementation and ongoing optimization
- Articulate partner priorities internally and act as an ambassador / evangelist for Crunchyroll externally.
- Understand and embody the company's values and team goals.
About You:
- The right individual is a confident professional who is committed to continuous challenge and learning. While anchored by strong personal skills, success in this role will be dependent upon attention to detail, thoughtful quantitative and qualitative analysis, a strong subjective filter, and the ability to prioritize & influence.
- Must have a deep interest in the intersection of media and technology, specifically in regard to new digital trends, innovative consumer products, new technologies, and groundbreaking entertainment experiences.
- The successful candidate will help Crunchyroll to build on its position as the partner of choice in the streaming marketplace.
- This person will be dedicated to fully understanding and staying on top of the competitive landscape.
- Will roll up his/her sleeves and dive into details while keeping sight of the big picture.
- Willing to dive into the granular details of each partnership, including core legal and financial levers as well as other operating priorities, with a focus on using strategic research / analysis to identify ways Crunchyroll can optimize and grow its relationships with those partners.
- Experience in reading and understanding legal agreements is a bonus.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Aptitude & enthusiasm for learning.
- 3-5 years work experience in media, technology, consulting or investment banking.
- Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, clear judgement, and the ability to multitask and prioritize a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with a consistent track record of building relationships, creating shared objectives, and crafting strategies for success
- Ability to take initiative with minimal direction, seek out information from diverse sources and demonstrate outstanding follow through.
- Travel required (only when advisable in consideration of health and safety requirements).
