As an Assistant Merchandise Manager overseeing the Vendor channel at The RealReal, you will be responsible for management of supply & demand strategy. The focus is on driving revenue and profitability for this high growth category, managing product mix across multiple categories. The ideal candidate has a growth mindset, thrives in a fast paced environment and is a skilled collaborator. 

This position will report into the Senior Merchandise Manager.

What You Get To Do Every Day

• Lead day-to-day management of supply acquisition through the Vendor (B2B) channel: Review linesheets and select viable inventory in partnership with the Planning & Pricing and Vendor departments
• Analyze and report on category performance, using analysis to inform future strategy
• Drive overarching product mix strategy in partnership with the Vendor department
• Develop future looking, quarterly supply mix strategies to support overarching category level financial targets
• Forge successful relationships across Planning and Vendor departments, collaborating to uncover opportunities and deliver upon financial targets

What You Bring To The Role

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• 2+ years of proven success in merchandising and/or buying
• Proactive, results-oriented mindset with experience driving to key business metrics
• Ability to remain flexible and react to current and emerging business trends. Actively identify new ideas to grow business and execute alongside cross-functional partners
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Team player able to work effectively and collaboratively across all departments to meet goals 
• Omni-Channel experience a plus
