As a Rally Health Remote Messaging Coach, you’ll respond to Member messages and provide personalized support during the consumer’s multiple stages of weight loss. The Messaging Health Coach will learn and provide the program content in a way that engages members and encourages them to make lifestyle changes establishing healthier habits. You will report to the Lead Messaging Coach.

Real Appeal is a proprietary, 52-week intensive lifestyle intervention program that focuses on helping participants lose weight and maintain weight loss, reducing or preventing obesity-related issues such as pre-diabetes, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. 

Pay rate: $19.00/hour to start

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 10:30am-7:00pm & Friday 8:00am-4:30pm 

Start Date: November 2, 2020

You will:

• Review messages sent by members and use approved resources and systems to write replies to those messages
• Provide individualized support to all members to guide an understanding and execution of the Real Appeal program
• Respond promptly to all questions and motivational needs
• You'll be prepared for all education sessions, notate member progress, and understand specifics to help each member succeed
• Work with fellow coaches and use continued training to improve coaching methods.

You have:

• BA/BS degree
• 1+ years of work experience using a non-judgmental approach to helping individuals change health behaviors - or - comparable education/training
• Coaching skills to think critically and respond authentically to members’ questions, concerns, and challenges
• Skills to work with technology and multiple software programs/online platforms (i.e.,Google products, Slack, BlueJeans, Salesforce)
• Effectively execute on additional projects simultaneously
• Value working within a telecommuting environment, holding oneself to a given schedule and a designated workspace free of distractions to protect member privacy
• Completed an NBHWC approved training program,  + 500-1,000 coaching hours OR coaching certification from NBHWC or ICF (preferred)
• Experience supporting members through chat, email, or other forms of written communication (preferred)
