Office Operations Manager

We’re a high energy, high growth SaaS company, that is seeking a hard-working, organized person to join our People & Culture team in San Francisco. As Office Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of our San Francisco office including running the front desk, managing vendor relationships, maintenance, and planning large-scale company events. You will also be the point person for HR-related duties, as well as the primary point of contact for IT and Recruiting support. This position reports to the Director of Facilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience with office management and/or workplace experience
- 2+ years experience budgeting and ensuring effective use of financial resources
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from start to finish, with exceptional organizational and planning skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as an understanding of collaboration tools like Google Drive, Slack, etc.
- Positive attitude and approach to new challenges in an ever-changing environment
- Thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Enthusiasm to take on and learn new things with a can-do attitude
- Ability to stay cool under pressure and keep things light while managing multiple priorities
- Willingness to work after-hours and occasional weekends as needed for events and construction projects
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
Responsibilities
- Run the front desk in our SF office, creating a best-in-class experience for customers, candidates, employees and everyone in-between
- Manage the onsite office operations including maintenance, the pantries, vendors, janitorial and furniture improvements
- HR duties such as I-9s, communications, onboarding, offboarding and coordination of orientation
- Oversee capital improvements including small construction projects, furniture improvements, etc.
- Organize company-wide and team events like our field day, holiday party, and one-off events
- Light IT support troubleshooting minor computer issues or conference room/AV problems, as well as coordinating support and equipment shipments with our IT team based out of NYC/Atlanta
- Plan and oversee office moves/renovations as needed
- Order supplies and furniture
- Assist the People Team with special projects as needed
- Think creatively, critically and often about ways to improve the employee experience and office operations
- Support the recruiting team as the point person for onsite candidates, creating a warm and welcoming experience
