What is the Operations Manager role?

The Operations Manager will be responsible for helping us scale our business nationally, bringing our innovative approach to mental healthcare to a larger SMI population. This role will focus on defining and improving key business processes that will enable us to run an efficient and effective clinical practice. The right person for this role thrives on creatively solving hard problems, digging into data to find opportunities for improvement, and delivering business results. This role is for you if you love hard operational challenges — you should be highly self-motivated, a strong team player, and eager to tackle whatever challenges come your way.

What You’ll be Doing 

  • Develop and optimize key processes related to our business operations
  • Define, track, and broadcast key metrics that will inform our team’s strategy
  • Identify operational opportunities and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impact
  • Create and execute a launch playbook for new states and/or partnerships
  • Initiate and run large, complex and cross-functional projects covering our healthcare operations, including assessing member engagement patterns, developing scheduling processes and systems, forecasting and managing clinical capacity

  • Bonus: Healthcare expertise or experience, especially in behavioral health systems, or telemedicine

Your Background and Skills 

  • 5+ years working in consulting, strategy and planning, business operations (lean/six sigma/etc.), or product management
  • Experience launching new business segments and/or products
  • Experience developing business models and/or analyzing data to make decisions
  • Experience creating, optimizing and scaling day-to-day business processes
  • Startup experience or experience working in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Bonus: Experience in a healthcare or health tech
  • Bonus: SQL and/or Looker/Tableau and/or Microsoft Excel
