Program Manager, Network Partnerships & Operations
About the Role
Chime relies on external partners in order to deliver best in class financial services to its members. Our network partners are critical for ensuring that transactions happen accurately and securely - whether a member is depositing money into their account, buying a cup of coffee with their Chime debit card, or taking out cash at an ATM. This role will strengthen our network partnerships and improve everyday transaction reliability for all of our members.
This job cannot be performed in the state of Colorado.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Solve interoperability issues and poor transaction experiences that drive negative member outcomes.
- Reduce operational defects through member-driven insights and develop scenario planning for material network partner risks.
- Support network implementations from end to end, including partner scoping, contract negotiations, and non-technical integration requirements.
- Manage day to day relationships with select payment network partners – both reactive to their needs and proactive in scoping new business opportunities.
- Support the operational execution of Move Money initiatives, such as product launches, service modifications and feature changes, problem solving, and performance monitoring.
- Analyze authorization rates, fraud trends, and other key performance indicators across our network partners and identify areas for optimization.
- Build out formal tracking of operability issues, roadblocks, and timelines to resolution (e.g. root cause analysis, how it was solved, new preventative measures taken).
- Develop executive-level reporting on network partners’ product and service performance, status updates, opportunities, challenges and business risks.
To thrive in this role, you have
- A passion for delivering the best member experience.
- 4-6 years of experience in payments, fintech, or consulting.
- 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing role.
- Program management experience with a track record of multi-tasking and coordinating efforts across multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated the ability to influence and foster deep positive relationships with external partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
- The ability to operate under pressure and find creative, practical solutions to problems; a bias toward thinking outside the conventional approach.
- An eagerness to dive deep into the details.
- A desire to join a mission-driven organization and help the continued growth of our team.
- Experience with SQL and Looker (preferred)
